2005 Tig 24V Boat .. This is a perfectly clean 2005 Tig 24V with fiberglass hull, all the options you could dream of, and only 90 hours on it. .. This boat is loaded with options including the Riders Edition package, Perfect Pass cruise control , bimini top, wakeboard tower, seating for 12, and an insane stereo package with tower speakers, power sub that can blow you off the water so much that there is an extra battery on board to handle the power for the stereo . .. If you have not experienced a boat like this before, you are in for a treat. Tig has a patented Convex V hull design and TAPS2 technology to produce professional grade wakes without the use of carry on ballast or integrated ballast systems. It is not about how much weight to pile onto a boat for big wakes, but rather being able to make big, well defined wakes without having to use ballast and without having to use big horsepower. That being said, it still has 340 GM Vortec 5.7 MPI Direct Drive engine. The Convex V fiberglass hull actually has a rocker shape at the transom, similar to the rocker found on the ends of a wakeboard. This hull shape naturally displaces a large amount of water at wakeboarding speeds. On top of that the TAPS2 system is a hydraulic wedge that can be adjusted from the captain s chair. The result is clean, well defined wakes ranging in size for beginners to the extreme. .. This hull design actually flattens the wake at higher speeds so truly is an all around water sportsmen dream wakeboarding, slalom, barefoot, etc. and also able to handle a party on the water with 12 of your best friends. . .. Overview br From the oversized swim platform to the roomy open bow, the 24V is truly a hard core wakeboarding machine. It s really no wonder that the 24V is always one of our testers favorite wakeboarding boats in the Tig lineup. With its ability to serve up pro sized wakes and the versatility to tone them down for intermediate riders as well, the 24V provides the power and flexibility for families with both budding wakeboarders and advanced riders. .. With all its size the 24V is 23 feet, 10 inches long and 102 inches wide there s plenty of room and plenty of power, which is impressive considering our test boat featured a fuel efficient small block 5.7 liter engine. We loved how it tackled big water and plowed through double ups like a champ. .. Wakes br The Tig 24V has the potential to be one of the best wakeboarding boats in the industry. We tested the 24V without ballast and primarily allowed the TAPS2 and ConvexV hull to churn wakes. The result was wakes big enough to please beginning to advanced intermediate riders. With this testing configuration and the TAPS2 set at 7, we discovered smooth ramps with excellent shape that showed promise for pleasing even the most hard core riders with the right amount of ballast. The transitions were nice and smooth, and we found we were able to edge hard without reservation. .. Handling br Nimble handling meets powerhouse size in this hard core wakeboarding machine. In fact, driving the 24V proved to be one of the rare occasions when the best features of a smaller boat merge with the power of a larger one. Whether you ride this boat without ballast or load it up to full ballast capacity, you ll appreciate how well it handles. Its turning ability is balanced, and for the boat s size it s easy to maneuver in tight docking situations. Big lake boaters won t be let down in this ride chop is a non issue with the deep V, 24 foot shell, which acts as a force field between you and Mother Nature. This is one solid ride. .. Comfort br With the Tig collapsible tower and swivel board racks, the focus of this boat is unmistakable. But touches of luxury, from the removable teak swim platform to the stainless steel fasteners, give this boat a style that will match any taste. As one of the biggest boats in Tig s line, it s got plenty room for up to 12 passengers to sit comfortably and store all their gear. An ergonomic seating design, which features wraparound seating and plenty of legroom in the bow area, makes sure everyone has a place to sit.
