The 1969 Cheoy Lee Spoiler is a superbly hand crafted and unique design. From its flybridge and sundeck to the swim platform down to its multi-function salon with berths, galley and dinette it is a uniquely designed boat. The fit and finish are superb on the Spoiler 30. It has a balsa and foam core construction with laminated fiberglass toughness. The boat provides stability with its beam to length ratio in addition to the flair and shear in the hull design. It is powered by twin Crusader gas engines with Volvo 280 I/O's. The flybridge seating consists of a center captain's chair flanked by passenger seating to either side. Each passenger seat possesses storage below it. There is a Datamarine depth sounder, a Datamarine auto pilot, a Garmin GPSmap 182C and a West Marine VHF. The dash holds a compass along with all the gauges and switches required to monitor and run the boat. A large amount of storage can also be found beneath the dash on both the port and starboard side. The sundeck is large and is covered in non-slip rubber flooring. Take the steps, not the ladder, down from the flybridge to the salon. There you'll find the galley to port, dinette and enclosed head to starboard and the forward berth configuration. The galley comes complete with a dual stainless steel sink, a convection oven, a stove cooktop, and a refrigerator. There are plenty of cupboards and drawers for storage as well as countertop space to prepare meals. Across from the galley is the large U-shaped dinette. The dinette has pull-out storage drawers beneath the seats. The table can be dropped and converts the dinette into a berth with the filler cushion. Even the seat backs can be opened to reveal additional storage. The forward berth area consists of a single bunk running port to starboard above a double berth running forward to aft. The enclosed head is positioned between the front berths and dinette on the starboard side. The head is outfitted with a manual pump toilet, sink with faucet, and storage cabinets. Located aft passing through a sliding glass door is sun pad or passenger seats that can also be used as a double berth with the canvas in place. Below the sun pad/berth is the engine room which contains the twin Crusader 250's. We are looking for people all over the country who share our love for boats.
