1978 CAL 39 MkII, Sailboat/Cruiser, This vessel is in overall above average condition for its age due to its recent refurbishment and refit. The previous owner did a full rebuild on the Perkins engine and there are only a handful of hours on it since refit. The three-blade prop is new as of May 2021. All rigging is in good condition. The mainsail is new as of May 2021. A recent inspection discovered water intrusion in the deck at the chain plates and in one side of the rudder. The water intrusion beneath one chain plate also appears in the bulkhead beneath it, which shows some delamination. There has also been found some delamination and wood rot near the rudder attachment point. The seller has reduced the list price of the boat to compensate.
